Our first week was at Ashley's house, with Christine by her side. Ashley was formerly a pre-school teacher. She has showed us the ropes, included a daily schedule to follow and is sharing her teaching goodies. I think we all are pretty sure that this co-op would not be the same without her!
This week was mostly about establishing routines. Singing ended up being their favorite activity. Here they are making the hand motions to the song "Bubblegum."

We focused our ideas on this book. It's about Jesse Bear's day and what he wears for each activity. They each got a paper teddy bear and got to pick clothes to glue on him.
Here they are "sleeping" during the song, "Mr. Rooster." They came up with this on their own.
All in all, this week turned out to be a success!
